The QA Technology 125-SDN250W is a socket from the 125-25 series — 0.125 in (3.18 mm) centres, 0.250 in (6.35 mm) full stroke — built for loaded-board and high-current testing. It is pressed into the fixture's probe plate and the spring probe seats in it, so probe changes need no rework of the harness.
It is the wire-wrap counterpart to the solder-cup 125-SDN250S on the same N (nickel silver, no finish) tube: instead of a cup, it ends in a square wire-wrap post in phosphor bronze, gold plated over nickel. Specify it when the fixture is wired on a wrap gun rather than soldered, which makes re-terminating a channel a great deal quicker.
