The INGUN KS-100 35 G is a press-in receptacle from INGUN's KS-100 series, the 100 mil (2.54 mm) grid family. The receptacle is pressed into the fixture's probe plate once and the spring probe plugs into it, so a worn probe can be pulled and replaced without unsoldering or rewiring the fixture.
Like the other G variants across the KS range it is supplied with a press ring, which gives a defined and repeatable installation depth when the receptacle is pressed home — the reason to choose a G part over a plain press-in body when a whole plate of receptacles has to finish at the same height.
