Ingun GKS-550 303 090 A 1000, Cupped Tip, 50mil

The INGUN GKS-550 303 090 A 1000 (INGUN item GKS-550-0033) is a short-body fine-pitch spring-loaded test probe for the 1.27 mm (50 mil) grid, seated in a KS-550 or KS-550 WL receptacle.

The GKS-550 carries the same tip geometries and the same 4.3 mm working stroke as the longer GKS-050, but in a 34.6 mm body rather than 43.2 mm — roughly 20 % shorter. That is the reason to choose it: a shallower fixture stack-up, or simply a shorter unsupported length and therefore a stiffer probe. The trade is current, rated 2 A here against 3 A for the GKS-050 equivalent, so keep it on signal nodes. Tip style 03 is an inverse cone, the concave face that seats over solder bumps, wire ends and trimmed leads and holds the probe centred on them through the stroke.
