Ingun GKS-550 238 050 A 1000, Needle Tip, 50mil

The INGUN GKS-550 238 050 A 1000 (INGUN item GKS-550-0020) is a short-body fine-pitch spring-loaded test probe for the 1.27 mm (50 mil) grid, seated in a KS-550 or KS-550 WL receptacle.

Tip style 38 is a 150° passive dagger, self-cleaning. The very obtuse 150° included angle is what makes it “passive”: it still presents a defined edge that wipes contamination aside as the probe compresses, but it is far blunter than an aggressive dagger and so much less likely to punch through thin plating or gouge a pad. That combination — wiping action without aggression — makes it a sensible default on pads and vias whose finish is inconsistent but whose plating is thin. At 0.5 mm the tip is the smallest INGUN offers, and the GKS-550 body keeps overall length to 34.6 mm for shallow fixture stack-ups.
