Ingun GKS-550 201 050 A 1500 Probe, Needle Tip, 50mil

The INGUN GKS-550 201 050 A 1500 (INGUN item GKS-550-0023) is a short-body fine-pitch spring-loaded test probe for the 1.27 mm (50 mil) grid, seated in a KS-550 or KS-550 WL receptacle.

Tip style 01 is a 30° needle point, self-cleaning — the sharpest geometry INGUN offers, and at 0.5 mm one of the smallest tips available anywhere in the range. That combination is what makes it the go-to probe for tight vias and small bare pads: the point pierces surface film and self-centres in a plated hole, and the tiny footprint keeps the required keep-out minimal on a crowded board. The GKS-550 body adds a second advantage over the equivalent GKS-050 — 34.6 mm rather than 43.2 mm overall, for shallower fixture stack-ups — at the cost of a 2 A rating. The 1.5 N spring gives the needle enough force to break through light oxide.
