The INGUN GKS-100 305 090 A 2000 (INGUN item GKS-100-0007) is a spring-loaded test probe for the 2.54 mm (100 mil) grid, seated in a KS-100 receptacle so it can be replaced from the top of the fixture without rewiring.
Tip style 05 is bullet-nosed with a full radius: a smooth dome that presses against the target without cutting it, which is what you want on gold-plated pads, connector contacts and any surface that must survive the test undamaged. The 0.9 mm face is the compact end of the 05 range, so it fits pads a 1.3 mm bullet nose would overhang. Two things set this variant apart from the rest of the GKS-100 line: a beryllium-copper plunger that lifts the current rating to 8 A, and a 2 N spring — double the standard force. That combination makes it a good choice for moderate-power nodes and for blunt-tip contact that still needs enough force to seat reliably through a light surface film.
- Tip style 05, bullet-nosed (full radius); tip diameter 0.9 mm (0.035 in)
- Barrel diameter 1.37 mm (0.053 in), total length 33.4 mm (1.31 in)
- Grid pitch 2.54 mm (100 mil)
- Spring force 2 N at working stroke, pre-load 0.66 N
- Working stroke 4.3 mm, maximum stroke 6.35 mm
- Current rating 8 A, contact resistance 20 mΩ typical
- CuBe plunger, gold-plated
- Receptacle: KS-100
