Ingun GKS-100 225 150 A 1500, Crown Tip, 100mil

The INGUN GKS-100 225 150 A 1500 (INGUN item GKS-100-0513) is a standard-stroke test probe on the 2.54 mm (100 mil) grid, plugging into a KS-100 receptacle with quick exchange.

The 25 tip is a self-cleaning 6-point crown with a centre point, and it exists for one job: capturing round leads. The surrounding crown centres a post or pin as the probe closes, while the middle point contacts the end face, so the joint does not depend on the lead being perfectly upright or the fixture landing dead centre. At ø1.5 mm it accepts the usual through-hole lead and header pin diameters. Choose it over a crown-only tip wherever the target is a pin rather than a flat pad, and over the long-stroke GKS-135 225 130 A 1500 when standard 4.3 mm travel is sufficient.
