The INGUN GKS-040 305 040 A 0800 (INGUN item GKS-040-0002) is the finest-pitch probe in INGUN's standard-stroke GKS range: a 1 mm (39.3 mil) grid on a 0.61 mm barrel. Reach for it when the target pitch has closed to the point where even a 50 mil (1.27 mm) probe will not fit — fine-pitch BGA escape pads, connector arrays and dense probe-card style test points.
Everything about it is scaled down to match: the 05 bullet-nosed tip is only ø0.4 mm, and the 0800 spring delivers 0.8 N at working stroke, which is deliberately light so a dense field of these probes does not flex a thin board. The full-radius bullet nose contacts pads and female connectors without cutting, at the cost of needing a clean target — on flux-contaminated surfaces a sharper tip style will be more reliable. Rated current is 2 A, so treat these as signal probes.
