Ingun GKS-040 214 040 A 0800 Test Probe, Crown Tip, 40mil

The INGUN GKS-040 214 040 A 0800 (INGUN item GKS-040-0040) is a spring-loaded test probe for in-circuit and functional test on a 1 mm (39.3 mil) grid. It plugs into a KS-040 receptacle in the fixture's probe plate, and the sprung plunger takes up board flatness and Z-height variation so contact force stays repeatable across the probe field.

This variant carries the 14 head — a self-cleaning four-point crown. The crown is the general-purpose choice for plated through-holes, vias and slightly contaminated pads: the four points concentrate load so they break through residue, while the surrounding rim keeps the probe centred. Pick the 297 dagger head instead when you need a single cutting point on a small flat pad.
