The INGUN GKS-004 308 396 A 1500 (INGUN item GKS-004-0017) is a short, robust test probe on a coarse 4.75 mm (187 mil) grid with an unusually large ø3.96 mm head. It is built for targets that are big, not dense: battery and power terminals, large through-hole leads, screw posts and heavy connector contacts, where a 100 mil (2.54 mm) probe would be lost on the pad.
The 08 tip is a self-cleaning 90° cone. On a large round or irregular target the cone self-centres as the probe compresses and the conical flank wipes the surface, so contact does not depend on the fixture landing the probe exactly on centre. Being from the short/robust GKS family the 2.36 mm barrel is stiff enough to take side loading that would bend a fine probe, and the part is rated to 6 A. It plugs into a KS-004 receptacle and supports quick exchange.
