The INGUN GKS-002 303 191 A 1800 (INGUN item GKS-002-0009) is a short-body spring-loaded test probe on the 2.54 mm (100 mil) grid, seated in a KS-002 receptacle.
What sets the GKS-002 apart from the mainstream GKS-100 line is length and travel: 24.6 mm overall against 33.4 mm, and a 2.7 mm working stroke against 4.3 mm. That makes it the probe for a shallow fixture stack-up where there is simply no room for a full-length probe, at the cost of less travel to absorb board warp — so it wants a well-supported, flat DUT. Tip style 03 is an inverse cone: a concave face that seats over a rounded target such as a solder bump, a wire end or a trimmed through-hole lead, capturing it rather than sliding off. At 1.91 mm this is a large cone, matched to substantial targets. The CuBe plunger carries 8 A, well above the 5 A of a standard 100 mil (2.54 mm) probe, which makes it useful on power nodes as well as signals.
- Tip style 03, inverse cone; tip diameter 1.91 mm (0.075 in)
- Barrel diameter 1.37 mm (0.053 in), total length 24.6 mm (0.968 in)
- Grid pitch 2.54 mm (100 mil)
- Spring force 1.8 N at working stroke, pre-load 1.08 N
- Working stroke 2.7 mm, maximum stroke 4.1 mm
- Current rating 8 A, contact resistance 20 mΩ typical
- CuBe plunger, gold-plated
- Receptacle: KS-002
