The GP-2T is the threaded-tip member of the GP-2 guide-pin family, used to locate a PCB in a FixturFab test fixture through the board's tooling holes so the DUT is fixed in X and Y and probe contact repeats cycle after cycle.
The threaded tip is what distinguishes it from the pointed GP-2S and umbrella GP-2U: it takes a screw-on head rather than a fixed one, so a worn or wrong-sized tip can be changed without pulling the pin out of the plate. This is the standard-length version; the GP-2TL is the same pin on a longer body, and is offered in two spring ratings for fixtures that need more or less resistance as the board is pressed down.
