A generic R50-series receptacle for fine-pitch probe fields. It is pressed into the fixture's probe plate and the spring probe seats in it, so a worn probe can be replaced without unsoldering or rewiring the fixture.
The R50 body is the smallest of the generic R-series, taking the tightest mounting hole of the range — the one to use when a board's test points are too close together for a 75 mil field. The suffix marks the termination and body length variant within the R50 range, so check the termination style and overall length against your plate drawing before substituting one R50 for another.
