A generic R100-series receptacle for the 100 mil (2.54 mm) grid with a solder-cup termination. It is pressed into the fixture's probe plate and the spring probe seats in it, so probes are exchanged during maintenance without any wiring work.
This is the solder-cup counterpart to the R100-2W on the same 1.7 mm mounting hole — the default choice for a hand-soldered 100 mil fixture. Because the R100 pattern matches the standard 100 mil drill, a plate laid out for a branded body accepts it without a change to the drawing.
In Studio this receptacle is paired with the generic P100-A2, P100-B1 and P100-LM2 probes.
