The Dev Test Fixture Base is the entry point to FixturFab's desktop fixture range — a simple hinged-closing manual fixture for the earliest, roughest stage of a project. The lid swings down onto the board rather than descending in parallel, which keeps the mechanism (and the price) minimal while still giving a repeatable, hands-free contact once closed.
It is aimed squarely at prototype and firmware work: programming and bring-up jigs, a handful of boards at a time, test points that need to be reached reliably a few hundred times rather than a few hundred thousand. As with the rest of the range the probe field lives in a swappable Dev cartridge, so the base is reusable across products.
