Dev Pro XL Tall Carbon Test Fixture Base

The Dev Pro XL Tall Carbon Test Fixture Base is the fully-specified wide-format base in FixturFab's desktop range: the Dev Pro XL working area, the raised housing of the Tall variants, and the reinforced Carbon structure — carbon-reinforced 3D printed components carrying an aluminium pressure frame.

Each upgrade answers a different constraint. The XL footprint takes boards that will not fit a standard Dev Pro. The raised housing gives relay boards, supplies, a controller and their wiring somewhere to live inside the fixture. The Carbon structure keeps a large pressure frame stiff under 150 N, so probes at the corners of the working area see the same engagement as those in the middle — which is what keeps a fixture from producing intermittent failures once it starts running every day.

As with every base in the range, the board-specific probe field lives in a swappable Dev Pro XL cartridge, so the base outlives any single product.
