Dev Pro XL Carbon Test Fixture Base

The Dev Pro XL Carbon Test Fixture Base combines the wide-format Dev Pro XL working area with FixturFab's reinforced Carbon build: carbon-reinforced 3D printed components carrying an aluminium pressure frame. The larger the pressure frame, the more a flexible structure costs you in repeatability, which makes the Carbon build a natural pairing with the XL footprint.

A stiffer frame keeps probe travel and contact force consistent across the whole 232 × 151 mm area rather than only near the hinges, so probes at the far corners of a large board see the same engagement as those in the middle. That matters most on fixtures that run every day — validation rigs and low-volume production cells rather than occasional bench work.

Everything else follows the range: single-sided probing from below, optional limited top-side contacting, and a swappable Dev Pro XL cartridge carrying the board-specific probe field.
