Dev Pro Carbon XXL Tall Test Fixture Base

The Dev Pro XXL Tall Carbon is the largest and most fully-specified base in FixturFab's desktop manual fixture range: a 285 × 240 mm useable area over a 302 mm-tall housing, built in the reinforced Carbon structure — carbon-reinforced 3D printed components carrying an aluminium pressure frame.

It is the configuration to specify when a large board and a substantial amount of test electronics have to live in the same fixture. The raised housing takes the relay boards, supplies, controller and loom that a board with this many interfaces usually brings with it, and the Carbon structure keeps the large pressure frame stiff under 150 N so contact stays repeatable from the centre of the working area out to the corners.

At 4 kg it remains a fixture one person carries between benches, which is the point of the whole range: a self-contained test station rather than a piece of floor equipment. The board-specific probe field lives in a swappable Dev Pro XXL cartridge.
