Dev Pro Carbon Test Fixture Base

The Dev Pro Carbon Test Fixture Base is the reinforced build of FixturFab's desktop manual fixture platform. Working area, contact force and cartridge interface are identical to the standard Dev Pro; what changes is the structure — carbon-reinforced 3D printed components carrying an aluminium pressure frame, for a stiffer, more dimensionally stable fixture that holds its alignment as the cycle count climbs.

Stiffness is what makes a probe field repeatable. A frame that flexes under 150 N lets probe travel and contact force drift from board to board, and that drift shows up as intermittent test failures long before anything looks visibly wrong. The Carbon build is the answer when a Dev Pro is moving from occasional bench use into daily, repeated use — a validation rig that runs all day, or a low-volume production cell.

As with every base in the range, the board-specific probe field lives in a swappable Dev Pro cartridge, so the base is a one-time purchase that outlives any single product.
