Centalic PQ75-LM-4GG Test Probe, Star Tip, 75mil

The Centalic PQ75-LM-4GG is a spring-loaded in-circuit test probe for fixtures on 1.91 mm (75 mil) centres, running in an RQ75 receptacle pressed into the probe plate.

The LM head is a star tip — several radial points around a central axis. It sits between the single-point needle and the flat serrated head: the points still concentrate enough load to cut through oxide and flux, but because there are several of them the probe is far less likely to skate off a slightly domed or uneven target, and a failed contact on one point does not lose the measurement. That makes it a good default on reflowed pads and through-hole joints. Spring force is 4 oz (112 gf).
