The Centalic PQ50-H5-5.5GG is a spring-loaded in-circuit test probe for fixtures on 1.27 mm (50 mil) centres, running in an RQ50 receptacle pressed into the probe plate.
The H5 head is a waffle tip: a flat face cross-hatched into a grid of small pyramids. The many small points bite through oxide and flux residue at several places at once, giving a more forgiving contact than a single needle on dirty or reflowed surfaces, while still spreading load across the pad. It is paired here with the heaviest PQ50 spring, 5.5 oz (150 gf) — reach for this combination when 4 oz needle probes are giving intermittent opens on a contaminated board.
