Centalic PQ50-B-4GG Test Probe, Needle Tip, 50mil

The Centalic PQ50-B-4GG is a spring-loaded in-circuit test probe for fixtures laid out on 1.27 mm (50 mil) centres. The probe drops into an RQ50 receptacle pressed into the probe plate, so worn probes are replaced by hand without disturbing the wiring — the standard two-piece arrangement for bed-of-nails fixtures.

The B head is a needle (spear) point on a 0.50 mm plunger: the tip to reach small pads, vias and tight targets, and the one that penetrates no-clean flux residue most readily because all the spring load is concentrated on a single point. The 4 oz (122 gf) spring is the mid force of the PQ50 range, which also offers 3 oz and 5.5 oz.
