The Centalic PQ100-LM-4GG is a spring-loaded in-circuit test probe for fixtures on 2.54 mm (100 mil) centres, running in an RQ100 receptacle pressed into the probe plate.
The LM head is a star tip — several radial points around a central axis. It sits between the single-point needle and the flat serrated head: the points concentrate enough load to break oxide and flux film, but having several of them keeps the probe from skating off a domed or uneven target, and one point losing contact does not lose the measurement. That makes it a solid default on reflowed pads and through-hole joints. Spring force is 4 oz (120 gf).
