Centalic PQ100-H5-4GG Test Probe, Crown Tip, 100mil
Centalic PQ100-H5-4GG Test Probe, Crown Tip, 100mil
Backordered, ships in 2-3 weeks
The Centalic PQ100-H5-4GG is an ICT spring probe on 2.54 mm (100 mil) minimum centres, the standard pitch for in-circuit and functional test fixtures. It mounts in a matching PQ100 receptacle in the probe plate, so probes can be exchanged as they wear without rebuilding the fixture or re-terminating the wiring.
The H5 tip is a crown — points arranged around an open centre — which cuts through flux residue and oxide on solder joints while remaining tolerant of small landing errors, and lets debris clear rather than trapping it. It is the general-purpose ICT tip. This part is the lighter-spring sibling of the PQ100-H5-5.5GG: the 4GG suffix denotes the 4 oz spring option against 5.5 oz (150 gf) for that part. Specify it when the probe count is high enough that per-probe force adds up to significant board deflection, or when the assembly is thin or already populated; step up to the 5.5 oz version when contamination is defeating the lighter spring.
