The Centalic PQ100-B-9GG is a spring-loaded in-circuit test probe for fixtures on 2.54 mm (100 mil) centres, running in an RQ100 receptacle pressed into the probe plate.
It pairs the needle (spear) head with a 9 oz (255 gf) spring — towards the heavy end of the PQ100 ladder (3.5 to 11 oz). Reach for this force where the contact surface fights back: heavy no-clean or rosin residue, oxidised through-hole joints, or targets that must be probed through a thin coating. Because total plate load scales with probe count, keep high-force probes to the positions that need them and run the rest of the field at 4 oz or 5.5 oz.
