The Centalic PQ100-B-7.2GG is a spring-loaded in-circuit test probe for fixtures on 2.54 mm (100 mil) centres, running in an RQ100 receptacle pressed into the probe plate.
It is the needle (spear) head on a 7.2 oz (203 gf) spring — the mid-heavy step in the PQ100 force ladder, which runs 3.5, 4, 5.5, 7.2, 9, 10 and 11 oz on identical bodies. Move up from the 4 oz version when a board's pads carry heavier no-clean residue or conformal coating and the lighter spring is giving intermittent opens; stay lower where a dense probe field would otherwise put too much total load into the board.
