The Centalic PQ100-B-10GG is a spring-loaded in-circuit test probe for fixtures on 2.54 mm (100 mil) centres, running in an RQ100 receptacle pressed into the probe plate.
It pairs the needle (spear) head with a 10 oz (284 gf) spring, the second-heaviest in the PQ100 ladder (3.5 to 11 oz). This is the force to reach for when nothing lighter will make contact: heavily oxidised joints, thick no-clean residue, or a coating that has to be pierced. Used sparingly on the few positions that need it, it keeps the rest of the field on a lighter spring and the total plate load in check.
