Centalic PE75-LM-5.5GG Test Probe, Star Tip, 75mil

The Centalic PE75-LM-5.5GG is a spring-loaded in-circuit test probe for fixtures on 1.91 mm (75 mil) centres, running in an RE75 receptacle pressed into the probe plate. The PE75 covers the higher force band at 75 mil (1.91 mm) — 5.5, 7.2 and 8 oz — where the PQ75 range stops at 7 oz.

The LM head is a star tip: several radial points around a central axis. The points concentrate enough load to break oxide and flux film, but having several of them stops the probe skating off a domed or uneven target and keeps the measurement alive if one point misses. That makes it a good general-purpose head for reflowed pads and through-hole joints. Spring force is 5.5 oz (150 gf), the lightest PE75 option.
