The Acroname MTM-Load-1 (S96-MTM-Load-1) is a single-channel, software-controlled DC electronic load for the Manufacturing Test Module (MTM) system. It gives a functional-test fixture a programmable current sink, so outputs that only misbehave under load — battery chargers, USB power ports, amplifier and motor-driver stages, on-board regulators — can be exercised and measured as a scripted step rather than with a bench load and a manual dial.
The module runs in constant-current mode with Kelvin sense feedback and measures both voltage and current to better than 1 %, so load regulation and drop-out can be captured in the same pass that applies the load. Two selectable slew rates let the same fixture cover a gentle steady-state load and a fast step for transient response. Protection is built in — thermal fail-over, over-voltage lock-out and reverse voltage/current lock-out — which matters on a production line where a board may be seated wrong.
