The Dev Pro Cartridge, G10 is the exchangeable probe-plate and pressure-plate assembly for the FixturFab Dev Pro test fixture base, built with a G10 fiberglass probe plate. Four corner fasteners release it from the base, so moving to a new board revision is a cartridge swap rather than a new fixture.
G10 is the precision option in the Dev Pro range. It resists the hole wallow and plate creep that MDF develops as a probe field is cycled, which keeps probe position and contact force repeatable through a longer campaign — the reason to pay for it once a design has settled and the fixture is expected to stay in service. The MDF version of the same cartridge remains the sensible pick while the board is still changing.
