At 1.7 mm this is the largest 17 face in the 100 mil (2.54 mm) range: use it on generous test pads where the extra footprint buys tolerance to positional error, and step down to the GKS-075 version where the pad grid will not allow it. The 1 N spring is the lightest of the three stocked forces for this geometry, which matters when a few hundred of these land on the board at once.

Tip style 17, hexagonal pyramid with cutting edges, self-cleaning; tip diameter 1.7 mm (0.066 in)

Barrel diameter 1.37 mm (0.053 in), total length 33.4 mm (1.31 in)

Grid pitch 2.54 mm (100 mil)

Spring force 1 N at working stroke, pre-load 0.35 N

Working stroke 4.3 mm, maximum stroke 6.35 mm

Current rating 5 A, contact resistance 20 mΩ typical

Steel plunger, gold-plated

Receptacle: KS-100
